LIZ SMITH ‘19 (Playwright) is a Senior DPP. Past UArts credits include:  A Little More Spring (ASM), BECKY (AD) and Why Am I Used To This? (AD). Thanks to cast , production team and designers for all they’re all hard for making this show come to life.

SARAH SCAFIDI (Director) is the Artistic Assistant at Arden Theatre Company. Recent directing credits include Trigger Warning (Philly Fringe), The Real World: Kabul (Capital Fringe), Leveling Up (Interrobang Theatre – “Best of Charm City Fringe”), The Metal Children (Silver Spring Stage – listed in “Best Directors” and “Best Plays” of 2015 by DCMetroTheatreArts), [title of show] (purple light theatre), and a staged reading of Dancing Lessons (Olney Theatre Center). Her work has been seen at ReVamp Collective, Source Festival, One Minute Play Festival, Nu Sass, and Rorschach. AUDREY GREGORY ’22  (Assistant Director) is a Sophomore DPP major. Past shows include This is A Play About Buttons (Fringe 2018) and Year of the Rooster (UArts Home Series). Thank you to the amazing production team and everyone in the cast and crew.

EMILY BETTS ‘22 (Stage Manager) is a Freshman DPP major at The University of the Arts. Past Stage Management credits include: Romeo and Juliet, The Addams Family, Moon Over Buffalo (DSOA), Just Another Normal Conversation (FRINGE), Blood, Hate, and Other Gruesome Things & The Headmaster (Home Series 2018). Directing/Producing credits: The Diary of Anne Frank, Twelfth Night (DSOA). Upcoming UArts credits include Production Stage Managing Make ‘em Cry Uncle! in the February Equinox Festival and Psycho Beach Party in the March Senior Project festival. STEVEN GROSS ’22 (Assistant Stage Manager) is a Freshman Directing, Playwriting, and Production major. Previous UArts credits: crew in Year of the Rooster (Home Series 2018) and The Headmaster//blood, hate, and other gruesome things (Home Series 2018). He is looking forward to working as dramaturg for Summer in Equinox 2019. Past Stage Management credits: Norman, Janet, and the Monster (Open Space Arts). MALYNNE SMITH ’20 (Sophie) is a Junior Musical Theater major at UArts. Her credits with the school include Headmaster and White Girl in Danger. Regional: Lockhardt (HSC Productions) and A Ride on the Irish Cream. She’s so grateful for such a motivated and fun cast and crew.

 

VICTOR VALADEZ ’21 (Tinder Boy/ Host) is a Sophomore Acting major. This is Victor’s first onstage production for the Brind school here at The University of the Arts. Past credits are dirty work at the crossroads (FSCT) and a variety of film projects with the help of his friends here in Philadelphia. After graduating Victor plans to move back to Texas to work on film in the city of Austin. Endless thanks to his father and everyone in the community for the constant support
